Serenade of the Seas
Launched in 2003, Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas is the third vessel in the celebrated Radiance Class, positioned after Radiance of the Seas (2001) and Brilliance of the Seas (2002), and just before Jewel of the Seas (2004). This places her firmly in the middle of the class lineup, representing the evolution of Royal Caribbean’s glassโforward, sceneryโfocused ship design.
Built for panoramic ocean views and memorable destination driven itineraries, Serenade of the Seas measures 90,090 GT, spans 962–965 feet in length, and features 12 passenger decks. The ship welcomes around 2,143 guests (double occupancy) with a crew of approximately 884–891, offering a highly personal midโsize cruising experience.
Serenade’s most recent major refurbishment was completed in 2022, enhancing stateroom décor, upgrading dining venues, and refreshing public spaces to maintain a modern feel. Known for its glassโrich architecture—including acres of oceanโfacing windows and glass elevators—the ship delivers exceptional views on scenic routes such as Alaska, Northern Europe, and the Southern Caribbean.
Onboard, guests enjoy nine distinct dining venues, multiple pools including a retractableโroof Solarium, a rockโclimbing wall, miniโgolf, sports court, theater entertainment, and a bright, lively Centrum at the heart of the ship. RadianceโClass ships are specifically engineered for destination cruising, making Serenade a top pick for travellers who appreciate both adventure and relaxation.
