MSC Splendida is a magnificent Fantasia Class cruise ship and the second vessel launched in the class, joining sister ships MSC Fantasia, MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa. Launched on 18 July 2008 and entering service in July 2009, she was one of the largest cruise ships ever built for a European cruise line at the time of her debut.

Guests can enjoy 4 swimming pools, 18 bars and lounges, and up to 9 dining venues, including speciality restaurants and the exclusive MSC Yacht Club restaurant.
The ship underwent major refurbishments in 2017 ahead of her deployment to Asia and received further enhancements during a 2024 refurbishment, with additional Yacht Club upgrades completed during dry dock refreshes.
Unique selling points include the luxurious MSC Yacht Club, the spectacular Strand Theatre, a covered indoor pool, Formula 1 simulator, 4D Cinema, expansive spa facilities, and elegant Italian-inspired design throughout. Combining resort-style facilities with exceptional Mediterranean flair, MSC Splendida remains one of MSC Cruises' most popular and sophisticated ships.
